BA (Hons) Interior Design & Styling

Throughout your studies, you'll develop key transferable skills essential for employability in the creative industries. You'll have opportunities to collaborate with local, regional, national, and international sectors. Aspiring Interior Design and Styling professionals engage directly with industry through our Industry Liaison Groups. Visits to events like Decorex and Chelsea Harbour, both locally and in Europe, expand your network and exposure to leading brands and agencies.

<p dir="ltr">Our faculty brings extensive interiors experience, covering design and decoration for major hotel chains, shop fittings, and private accommodations. </p> <p dir="ltr">Our strong international connections enable students to study abroad for a semester at one of our partner institutions in Europe and North America.</p> <p dir="ltr">As a student on this course you will have the opportunity to work with brands such as Trevi House, Shelter, YesColours, Vitra, Airbus, Vispring, RSA Student Design Awards,BIID (British Institute of Interior Design).</p> <p dir="ltr">Graduates become: <strong>Interior &amp; Spatial Designers, Interior Product Designers &amp; Makers, Set Designers, Exhibition Designers, Product Stylists, Trend Forecasters, Retail Buyers/Merchandisers, Magazine Stylists, Interior Decorators, Freelance artists </strong>and<strong> designers.</strong><br /></p>

Our Graduates

Morwenna Franks
Morwenna Franks completed a BA (Hons) Interior Decoration, Design & Styling degree in 2020 with First Class Honours, going on to work at Lydia Allen Interiors as a junior interior designer on graduating.Focusing mainly on hospitality design, Morwenna relishes the opportunity to produce powerful brand focussed concepts through innovative interior schemes, bespoke brand artwork and out-of-the-box ideas to create notable experiences. She is passionate about creating aesthetically pleasing spaces that don’t compromise on functionality with a focus on the customers’ experience, while always having sustainability as a benchmark.
Emma Payne
Securing a First for her degree, Emma Payne is a talented designer who’s passion in design lies within colour, print and pattern and their ability to transform interiors. Unafraid to push limits and being bold with design highlights Emma’s approach to interiors, exploring scale, composition and finishes to make environments sing. Her portfolio features projects in the commercial and residential sectors, including restaurant hotel and workplace design as well as developing textile ranges. She enjoys drawing and painting, translating artistic works into surface patterns to enhance interiors. Her work boasts a cohesive, collective design nature and puts her personal mark on any project. She secured a design internship with Modus in London on graduating and currently works as an interior designer for Inner Pieces Ltd.
