Our Graduates
Leah Jordan is an artist specialising in ceramic and textile sculpture exploring the internal landscape of the body. Her work celebrates the functionality of the body and the organs that work unconsciously to keep the body machine alive.
Leah also practices pottery and wheel throwing alongside her fine art practice and works as a volunteer in the ceramics department at Arts University Plymouth. She completed a Masters in Fine Art in 2022, and a BA (Hons) Fine Art in 2019 with a First Class Honours. She has exhibited her work in the UK and Hong Kong.
Molly Erin McCarthy, a.k.a molmor / mol, is an artist and streamer who graduated from BA Fine Art in 2020.
She works across sculpture, installation and interactive mediums to explore how we form, and are formed by, the physical and philosophical landscapes we reside in.
While at Workroom Molly will be exploring how to create better synergy between her artistic practice and freelance work, aiming to share and collaborate with other residents and identify new and exciting ways to be a creative entrepreneur.
Ashanti Hare is a fine artist combining digital manipulation, folk craftmanship and writing. They explore the simplistic and powerful marriage of the daily rituals of human life and the intentionality within spiritual practices in sensory experiences that include tactility, scent and sound.Ashanti graduated BA (Hons) Fine Art in 2022 with a First Class Honours and also took home the Platform Graduate Award in 2022. After her studies she worked as a social media manager for in house gallery MIRROR, interned at local gallery KARST, had a residency with Southcombe Gallery and has since had commissions from RAMM and MIRROR.
