Rhys Coren
Freelance Artist
<p dir="ltr">Rhys Coren completed a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design before going on to complete a degree in Art & Visual Culture at UWE Bristol, and completing a postgraduate diploma in Fine Art at Royal Academy Schools London. Rhys works explores rhythm, colour and texture in work that is characterised by cartoon-like clouds, grids of colour, shadows and the interplay of lines.<br /><br />Now based in London, Rhys was recently commissioned to create a nine metre long public artwork made from bespoke terrazzo, displayed behind Bond Street Crossrail Station in London. He has had solo exhibitions at Galeriepcp, Paris; Seventeen, London; Grimm Gallery, New York and Lumiere Festival, London, with group exhibitions at Identity Gallery, Hong Kong; Spike Island, Bristol; Maria Gallery, Milan and RISE, Berlin.<br /></p>
